I WANT A HAMMOCK.
HAMMOCK HAMMOCK HAMMOCK HAMMOCK HAMMOCK!!!
Hildr is an older Magical Girl(woman?), a beast of a fighter and a strong willed woman. Such a strong fighter only 3 of her attacks are known, since they’re mostly all she needs to beat down enemies. Hildr is also mother to Marie, an eevee, whom Hildr happily doted on.
Hildr also frequently makes fun of Marie’s inability to be a “Dragon Slayer” as her magical title refers to her as, much to Marie’s chagrin. Although Marie’s inability to beat her mother might be because her mother’s a tank.
Monster boy’s generator
First was a dullahan in a maid outfit who hates toast
Second is a bunny boy who wears hooker heels and hates bait
Third is a cyclopse boy who wears a sweaters and thinks of cowboy boots
So based on some comments on the original image: I’m really NOT surprised that Satoshi Tajiri has made nods to the idea of helper pokemon throughout the franchise’s run. Of course battles are the main point (as a game) but pokemon as companions and helpers has been nodded to both in the game, comic and anime! I really wanted to focus on jobs we have for animals that i could translate for pokemon, than simply just companions (ie: Seeing eye dogs, owned pets who visit hospitals to cheer up patience etc)
The doodle on the right was inspired by this comic on a boy with a missing leg getting a puppy with a missing leg and in the end he loves the puppy. I imagine with pokemon as well, inspirations and companions to those with disabilities.
Bottom right is based on autistic children/people and their love for animals. I know a few about autistic children and horses and even some ranches who allow Autistic Children to ride horses as therapy for them. I imagine the same with pokemon. Both people with rideable pokemon along with parents who were ex-trainers who happen to have pokemon such as rapidash/ponyta/gogoat/etc
I think about pokemon in non-battle situations a lot. Like pokemon who have been trained/raised to be helpers and assistants than to be battle partners.
Pokemon visiting hospitals to cheer patients up like dogs and cats do. Or ones that help kids learn to read, speak, swim, go through therapy?! Even pokemon who’s abilities help owners with specific disabilities?!
I love thinking of pokemon outside of battle situations.
